This half term we are looking at 'Growing'.

We have been reading 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and have been re-enacting the story through small world props and puppets. We were very interested in castles and decided to make our own castle for our reading area. We also made castles from 2D shapes and made a castle together out of our small blocks.

We have really enjoyed doing observational drawings of different types of flowers and have selected a variety of materials when doing this.

We are currently making our own green houses which we have planted a bean seed inside and are looking at the changes all the time.
