LRB 2016 - 2017

Mrs Grier

Staff:  Mrs Grier and Miss Wignall

Welcome to what for many of you is your last half term at Holy Family!  I'm sure you are both excited and a bit anxious about moving on.  You will have the chance to visit your new schools soon, which I'm sure you will enjoy.  This will help you to settle in when you start in September.

It will also be a busy half term in school.  Some of you are taking part in the PGL residential.  A whole school trip is planned.  There will also be a sports day, and end of year activities.  In between all this we will be continuing with our lessons so that you have the best literacy and numeracy skills possible when you start your new school.  You will continue to spend the afternoons in your Year 5 or 6 class, taking part in Science, Geography,  Art, RE, Music, ICT and PE lessons.

Spelling homework will continue to be given on a Monday by your Read ,Write,Inc or Spelling Group teacher.  This should be returned to school on the Friday.  I will continue give you Maths homework on a Friday, to be returned on the Monday.

Make the most of the half term!  smiley
