Faith in Action Group

Our Year 6 children are given the opportunity to join the Faith in Action Award Pin. The aim of this is to encourage young people to act in service of the wider community and accept greater responsibility for their faith. It builds on what they may already be doing, both in school through Peer Mentors and charitable giving, and outside of school, through the Sacrament of Reconciliation or being an Altar Server. This is open to children of any faith, as it is about putting their faith into action. We recognise that many Catholic secondary schools continue with this award to Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

We meet each Monday lunchtime to keep a short reflective journal and plan our events.

Our actions so far:

MacMillan Coffee Morning
Harvest Collection
EYFS prospective parents’ Open Evening
Liturgical Year artwork
Advent service
Clothing donation for Homeless
Survey for School Prayer

We are excited to have 12 children in our club this year! Below is a photo of our Faith in Action group 2022-2023.

Our free communication app allows us to provide parents with instant access to our important messages and up to date school information.

Please contact the school office if you have not received your personal invite.
